YMHA/JCC Troop 26

A Note from the Webmaster

Maybe I'm getting nostalgic in my old age. On a whim, I checked the Internet and couldn’t find anything about the JCC Boy Scout Troop 26 in Scranton, Pa. That gave me the idea to start a Web site for the next person who may one day surf the Web in search of an old memory. Although perhaps not as popular today, the scout movement played a major role in skill and character development for young boys well into their teens. I was a proud member of Boy Scout Troop 26 in the mid 1950’s. Therefore, most of the information presented herein relates to that period of time. This site will be updated and improved as more information is obtained about the early history of Troop 26 and its members. I welcome your memories and contributions to this Web site.
